N-Power: HOW TO FIX NASIMS ID, PASSWORD ERROR, WRONG BIRTH DATE ON NASIMS PORTAL

1) Password Reset:
for those of you having password Error, the tips below will help you fix it
When you send a password reset link to your email and all you get is your password has been successfully reset without resetting it, go back to the NASIMS portal and resend the link again to get the password reset link to reset your password
While sending the password reset link, you may get a response that something has gone wrong try again pop-up message. Do not stop, Click the send link button until you get a green success pop-up message. The same thing goes for you when resetting your password in your email inbox.
NASIMS Record Update:
Some of you have lots of corrections to carry out while updating your NASIMS records. I have seen some Applicants using certificates in place of passport and National ID card which is wrong. Thank God for the new NASIMS portal you can now edit and correct these mistakes.
If your date of birth was wrongly filled, make sure you correct it when validating your BVN. The correction will reflect on your data after a Successful BVN validation
Make sure your documents size are not above 200kb before uploading if not you will get an error
Make sure that you re-upload your passport along with other documents required if not you will get an error
If you get a pop-up message that your date of birth does not correspond with your BVN during validation, make sure that you fill the date of birth in your BVN record instead if not will get an error.
NASIMS Test ID:
For those of you having the issue of NASIMS Id, see tips below:
Your NASIMS ID is the Npower registration number boldly written when you login to your NASIMS portal. It starts with NPWR/2020/*****. You need that Id and your NASIMS portal reset Password to write your test
If you get an error while trying to access the test portal with your NASIMS Id and password correctly written, keep trying it might be a network Error.
Note: If you know that you have done everything right but still getting errors, keep trying it might be a network issue.

POSSIBLE CUT OFF MARK FOR NPOWER BATCH C TEST

What is the N-power Cut-off Mark for Batch C Test?
Be informed that the official N-power cut-off mark for the Batch ‘C‘ test has not been announced yet. Although the pass mark might be 40%, applicants are expected to score 50% and above to have a greater chance of being selected.
The N-power Batch ‘C’ test is no doubt a competitive exam where you are competing with over 5 million registered applicants in which only the best 500,000 people would be shortlisted. Therefore, the higher your test score, the higher your chances of being shortlisted.

Q: How can I resize my documents, it keeps saying 200kb?

A: Kindly download any of the photo resizing app, example litphoto or any other image cropping app from playstore, then use app to resize your documents before uploading.

Q: I do not know what my NASIMS ID is, and I forgot to copy my NASIMS ID.

A: Simply login to your NASIMS profile and copy your N-power Registration number that starts with NPWR/2020/ as that is your NASIMS ID.

Q: I have successfully changed my password, and BVN validated as well, but I was trying to update my profile before going ahead to take the test, but the submit tab is not responding, what is the way out please?

Minister Explains NASIMS Platform & N-EXIT Program

The Minister of the Ministry of Humanitarian affairs Sadiya Umar Farouq in her weekly review disclosed that the NASIMS platform will also facilitate seamless beneficiary verification, including an efficient transition & exit management plan that will enable beneficiaries to be migrated automatically to the NEXIT Program for POSSIBLE placement & employment opportunities with FG agencies
The Minister joined her colleagues at the FMHDSD and other distinguished guests a few days ago to Launched the National Social Investment Management System platform (NASIMS) which will facilitate selection, onboarding & administration of N-Power Batch C beneficiaries.
According to Sadiya Umar Farouq, the N-power programme is a critical component of the FG's National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) & supports the FG's vision of lifting 100 Nigerians out of poverty over 10 years. The objective remains to upskill young Nigerians for employment or entrepreneurship. She said that the NASIMS platform will help ensure transparency, institutional memory, and dynamic impact assessment of the N-Power cluster, Batch C, thus providing seamless interaction between the programme and beneficiaries.
Through the NASIMS portal, beneficiaries will receive their stipends on time, have access to a wide range of industry-specific content for leveraging enterprise learning, communicate their concerns & receive prompt feedback from the program implementation teams.
The NASIMS platform will also facilitate seamless beneficiary verification, including an efficient transition & exit management plan that will enable beneficiaries to be migrated automatically to the NEXIT Program for POSSIBLE placement & employment opportunities with FG agencies, says the Minister. The N-Power Batch C is structured to onboard one million beneficiaries beginning with an initial 500,000 in the first stream & another 500,000 in the second stream. The Batch-C registration portal opened on June 26th, 2020.
All applicants for Batch C are required to log onto the N-power self-service portal on NASIMS platform and update their records after which they will proceed to take the mandatory online test to progress to the next level of selection.

HOW TO SUCCESSFULLY GET YOUR NASIMS ID FOR NPOWER BATCH C ONLINE TEST 2021

For you to get your N-power NASIMS ID for the Batch c online screening test you have to follow this guidelines.
First visit the NASIMS portal If you are just visiting the portal for the first time, go to https://nasims.gov.ng/login and click on forgot password to reset your password.
After you have successfully recovered your password, login
Then click on the update information link or edit button to refill your personal information including your passport.
Upon submission, you will receive a pop-up message on your device screen containing your NASIMS ID you have to write down your unique NASIMS ID or screenshot so that you will not forget because you will have to write the test with your NASIMS ID.

NASIMS: What To Do When You Get The Error Message

Are you having an "error" message, or "something went wrong" message while trying to upload your documents?
Here is what to do
1) Try using any of the photo resizing app, you can use litphoto app to resize the photo to the required 200kb.
2) Alternatively you can upload your documents on WhatsApp status then download the documents then upload.

THE BEST DEVICE TO WRITE NASIMS NPOWER BATCH C TEST

Some of the Applicants have already lost the chance of being selected for the next stage of the recruitment process because they have exhausted all the 3 attempt slots for not submitting the test before the test time out.
Though you can use Mobile phones, the best device for the test is a computer or wider screen tablet because you will have the chance to glance at all parts of the test portal screen given you room to see your test time and questions answered on the go. This will enable you to meet up with the 20 minutes time allotted for the 20 questions.
Note the following:
a) The test is time-based and you are expected to answer 20 questions within 20 minutes.
b) Test cannot be retaken after submission.
c) You cannot skip any question.
d) Every question is allotted an equal score.
e) If you are timed out after the third attempt without submitting, you will not be able to take the test again.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NPOWER NASIMS AND N-EXIT PORTAL

This post is to clarify the difference between the NPower NASIMS Portal and N-EXIT Portal in order to prevent anything that will cause confusion between the prospective batch C Applicants and the exited Npower batches A and B Volunteers.
As you may all be aware that the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, disaster management, and social development have commenced the selection process of Recruiting 500,000 batch C Volunteers so also the process of empowering the exited batches A and B Npower Volunteers is ongoing.
In view of the above, the Ministry of Humanitarian affairs developed a new portal for the prospective batch C Applicants called National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS). This portal belongs to only Npower batch C and other NSIP Beneficiaries and has nothing to do with exited Npower Volunteers.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs in partnership with the CBN launched a portal called N-EXIT solely for the exited NPower batches A and B Volunteers and has nothing to do with batch C.
So, therefore, the difference is that N-EXIT portal belongs to only NPower batch A and B while the NASIMS portal belongs to NPower batch C and other NSIP beneficiaries.

HOW TO SCORE ABOVE 50% IN NASIMS NPOWER BATCH C TEST

1) First you must obtain your login details by recovering your password and update your record on the NASIMS portal as that is the first step of the process which we believe you are through with.
2) You must have copied your NASIMS ID since that is the key to unlocking the test portal. 
3) Make sure you are using a strong browser and a good data network. If not, take the test at midnight when traffic to the NASIMS portal is not heavy(off-peak period).
4) If you are ready with the things stated above, then you are ready to write the test. Visit https://onlinetest.nasims.gov.ng with your NASIMS ID and password to start the test
5) You must not be scared of writing the test, stay positive while writing the test as that will protect you against exam nervousness.
6) Read questions fast and accurately so that you can maximize the 20 minutes set to answer all questions.
7) You can not skip any question so do not waste too much time on a question you do not know the answer to, simply use your instinct to pick an answer and move to the next.
8) Remember the NASIMS N-power batch C test consists of 20 questions to be answered in 20 minutes. However, you have only 3 attempts after time out without submitting your test.
Finally, do not take the test until you have updated all your information on the NASIMS portal. Practice quantitative, numerical, and sentence correction questions.
