Npower News: Documents Required For Npower Deployment Exercise

The following documents below are required for the Npower deployment exercise;

A) VALID MEANS OF IDENTIFICATION: These documents includes but not limited to the following documents below;

1) Permanent Voter's Card

2) National Identity Card

3) Biodata page of International Passport

4) Driver's License

The above documents are required for Npower Batch C stream 2 applicants under the Npower non graduate categories such as N-Build, N-Tech, and N-creative categories.

B) BVN PRINT OUT/BVN SLIP: This document is required for Npower Batch C stream 2 applicants with pre-selected status on their Npower portal under the Npower non graduate categories such as N-Build, N-Tech and N-creative categories and it is not required for the Npower graduate categories such as N-Teach, N-Agro and N-Health.

C) PPA LETTER/DEPLOYMENT LETTER: The Npower ppa letter otherwise known as the Npower deployment letter is required for Npower Batch C stream 2 beneficiaries under the Npower graduate categories such as N-Teach, N-Agro and N-Health categories, this document has to be downloaded from the Npower portal and it is to be taken to the Npower Batch C stream 2 beneficiaries' places of primary assignments for it to be signed by the ppa contact person and has to be taken to the state Npower focal person for it to be approved and stamped, before it is uploaded back to the Npower portal, Npower Batch C stream 2 beneficiaries under the non graduate category that fails to sign, stamp and upload the ppa letter/deployment letter back to the Npower portal risk forfeiting his or her Npower monthly stipend.

D) OTHER DOCUMENTS: These might include copies of all documents uploaded to the Npower portal during preregistration such as birth certificates, academic credentials, nysc documents etc.

How To Locate Npower State Focal Person To Approve And Stamp The Deployment Letter

Npower Batch C stream 2 beneficiaries that have obtained their ppa letters otherwise known as the Npower deployment letter can follow the process below for each category to locate the Npower focal person and stamp their deployment letter.

N-TEACH: After the Npower Batch C stream 2 beneficiary must have downloaded the ppa letter, the Npower Batch C stream 2 beneficiary has to take the ppa letter to his or her place of primary assignment for acceptance or rejection, once accepted the Npower Batch C stream 2 beneficiary is to take the approved deployment letter to the state Npower focal person for further approval and stamping of the ppa letter, the state Npower focal person for N-Teach is located at the state ministry for education, for Npower Batch C stream 2 beneficiaries posted to schools.

N-AGRO: After the Npower Batch C stream 2 beneficiary must have downloaded the deployment letter, the Npower Batch C stream 2 beneficiary has to take the deployment letter to his or her place of primary assignment for acceptance or rejection, once accepted the Npower Batch C stream 2 beneficiary is to take the approved deployment letter to the state ministry for agriculture that is where the state Npower focal person for N-Agro beneficiaries is located, once the deployment letter is approved and stamped it has to be uploaded back to the Npower portal.

N-HEALTH: After the Npower beneficiary must have downloaded the ppa letter from the Npower portal, the Npower beneficiary has to take the ppa letter to his or her place of assignment for acceptance or rejection, (please note that rejection is for Npower applicants that wants to redeploy from their current place of primary assignment) once accepted the Npower beneficiary is to take the approved deployment letter to the state Npower focal person for further approval and stamping of the ppa letter, the state Npower focal person for N-Health is located at the state ministry for health.
