3) Once the applicant has successfully registered for the federal government loan, the applicant should login using the link https://loan.fedgrantandloan.gov.ng/auth/login

4) The applicant should go through every column and fill the information required.

Applicants for the federal government loan should kindly note that CAC number will be required, applicants without CAC can use their SMEDAN number to complete the part that requires CAC number.

Npower News: How To Complete The Federal Government Grant NIN Verification And How To Check If Your NIN Was Verified

According to Npower News, applicants that completed their federal government grant application when provisions was not made for the NIN are to complete their NIN verification process, without passing the NIN verification the applicant will not receive the federal government grant, according to the Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite the NIN is very important as this ensures that their are no duplicate in the federal government grant application process. In order to complete the NIN verification the applicant must follow the process below.

1) The applicant should click the link https://grant.fedgrantandloan.gov.ng/auth/nin/register

2) After clicking the above link the applicant is taken to the federal government grant portal, the applicant should input the phone number used for the federal government grant application.

3) After inputting your phone number into the space provided, a one time password will be sent into your phone as text message.

4) Copy the one time password quickly and go back to the federal government grant portal and enter the password into the space provided and also enter your NIN.

5) Click submit to complete the federal government grant NIN verification.

6) Once completed a prompt will be displayed saying that your NIN verification was successful

3) Once you get the prompt "NIN already updated" on the federal government grant portal, it simply means that your NIN was verified and you passed the NIN verification and likely to receive the federal government grant. If the prompt says "phone number not found" then you did not pass the NIN verification.

4) If the number of beneficiaries is still less than 1290 then the applicant will receive the federal government grant, but if the number of beneficiaries hits 1290 then the applicant will not receive the federal government grant.

According to the Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite MD,CFA the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, the federal government grant disbursement will be made to 774 local government nationwide to 1290 beneficiaries in each local government area to complete the one million nano businesses. Applicants that have completed all data when applying for the federal government grant online need not be present for physical screening.

Npower News: Second Phase Of The Federal Government Grant Disbursement Commences Today Monday 6th May 2024

According to Npower News, the second phase of the massive Federal government grant disbursement has commenced, applicants that registered for the federal government grant have started receiving their federal government grant and this is a massive disbursement, the federal government grant disbursement will continue this week in the coming weeks up until the end of May 2024.

According to Npower News, applicants can check the list of the federal government grant disbursement by visiting the federal government grant portal and click on "view beneficiaries" on the portal, once the number under the local government area reaches 1291 then the federal government grant has reached its maximum number of beneficiaries, anything short of 1291 simply means that the local government area will still receive the federal government grant. Applicants yet to receive the federal government grant are advised to exercise patience as the federal government grant is ongoing till the end of this month.

According to Npower News on Npower payment today Monday 6th 2024, beneficiaries of Npower having been asking when Npower payment will commence. Few months ago, the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu suspended Npower because of misappropriation of public funds in the Npower program, by Betta Edu, although an investigation conducted by the anti-graft agency was supposed to take six weeks, but the investigation is ongoing and even taken longer than its stipulated time of conclusion.

According to Npower News, beneficiaries should kindly note that Npower payment cannot be made until the investigation between Betta Edu and EFCC is completed or a unanimous decision is made about Npower.

According to Npower News, the National coordinator of Npower had earlier said that the program manager of Npower said that Npower payment issues will be addressed after the federal government grant must have been disbursed by the end of May.

Furthermore a representative in government asked for the suspension of Npower to be lifted. The house of representatives urged the Federal Government to resume Npower payment. The federal house of representatives also disagree with the government’s plan to form a new group to handle the affairs of Npower to be presided over led by the Finance Minister Wale Edun. The representatives said the law already says how Npower should be operated and managed and any changes should be approved from the parliament.

Prominent and well known cleric leaders are also asking the government to resume Npower, saying that the Npower program can be used as a viable too to alleviate poverty especially during this period of skyrocketing prices of commodities. The clerics claim that programs like Npower, when stopped, makes life even harder for the people who depend on Npower as their means of survival.

In conclusion, Npower is currently on suspension, this suspension was done by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu so that the anti-graft agency can conduct an investigation on how Npower is being managed and funded.

While Npower is on suspension, beneficiaries of Npower are yet to receive Npower payment for the last 9-12months. Beneficiaries of Npower who gain from Npower are clamouring for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to bring back Npower as soon as possible.
