According to Npower News, Npower payment will resume by late February or early March 2024 all things being equal, the Npower payment will be done in batches, Npower batch c stream 2 given top priority before Npower batch c stream 1 follows, Npower batch c yet to receive 8 months, 3 months, 12 months will all receive Npower payment provided they are eligible for Npower payment, for an Npower batch c to be eligible for Npower payment, the Npower batch c must have been validated to receive Npower payment, must have beneficiary written on his or her Npower portal, must have correct account details and BVN, must have been deployed, and must not be an applicant.
According to Npower News, Npower batch c with applicant status were not shortlisted and therefore not eligible for Npower payment when Npower payment starts, Npower batch c stream 2 under the non graduate categories that have not done their Npower training will not receive their Npower payment. Npower batch c under the non graduate categories were expected to complete an initial three months in camp training in order to receive their Npower payment, this three months in camp training is mandatory for all Npower batch c under the non graduate categories, the Npower training is not for Npower batch c stream 2 under the graduate categories and therefore will not affect their Npower payment.
According to Npower News, Npower payment will begin around late February or early March, because Npower was suspended by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by January 12th 2024, and this Npower suspension will last for six weeks before Npower payment resumes and from the duration of the Npower suspension one can deduce that Npower payment will resume by late February or early March 2024 all this being equal, although this date is tentative depending on how long the investigations by the anti-graft agency the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC will last, if the ongoing investigations takes longer than the stipulated six weeks then regrettably the Npower payment might take longer to commence. Npower batch c should only be optimistic that the investigation will be concluded as stipulated and not extend beyond the six weeks as said by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to Npower New, Npower batch c received Npower payment by December last year and were supposed to receive Npower payment by January to complete the outstanding stipends, but the minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Betta Edu was involved in a scandal that led to the abrupt suspension of Npower for six weeks, and this suspension has led to a pause in Npower payment.
