Exited Npower Volunteers Under N-Agro To Be Considered First For The NEXIT Soft Loan

According to reports from reliable sources, exited Npower volunteers under the N-Agro Npower category will be considered first when the NEXIT soft loan is being disbursed, the reason for this is due to the recent expansion of the National Home Grown School Feeding Programme (NHGSFP) by the federal government of Nigeria to revamp and improve the food security and food scarcity in the country, this would drastically reduce absenteeism amongst pupils and in turn boost the educational sector positively.

Exited Npower Volunteers under the N-Agro category can receive up to the maximum loan amount of ₦3,000,000 because the country is undergoing scarcity of food supplies to sustain the National Home Grown School Feeding Programme (NHGSFP), this is an opportunity to provide loans to exited Npower volunteers under the N-Agro volunteers to start their agricultural business and this would in turn alleviate food shortages and food supplies in the country on the long run.

The NEXIT soft loan disbursement will commence after the second batch of the Npower NEXIT training programme have been concluded and all business plans submitted to the Central Bank of Nigeria, the NEXIT soft loan ranges from ₦500,000 to ₦3,000,000 depending on the final loan amount reached on the business plan before submission to the Apex bank.

The NEXIT soft loan is an interest free loan that will be disbursed to exited Npower volunteers after completing a one week Npower NEXIT training, after the Npower NEXIT training, exited Npower volunteers are awarded certificates of completion and are mandated to complete a business plan which after completion will be submitted to the Central Bank of Nigeria to start the soft loan disbursement process.

But the challenge is that some exited Npower Volunteers that are currently under the Nigerian Youth Investment Fund might not qualify to receive the NEXIT soft loan when it is disbursed, the reason is because the Nigerian Youth Investment Fund programme is funded by the Central Bank of Nigeria in collaboration with NIRSAL/NMFB Microfinance and the Bank and Agric Business/Small And Medium Enterprises Investment Scheme (AgSMEIS) the same financial institutions that will fund the NEXIT soft loan.

The only exception is if the National Youth Investment Fund has elapsed and all loan repayment have been made by the Npower volunteer before your NEXIT soft loan business plan is submitted to the Central Bank of Nigeria, if your NEXIT soft loan business plan had already been submitted and you are still under the Nigerian Youth Investment Fund then you might not qualify for the Npower NEXIT soft loan disbursement when it begins.

These are likely areas that the Central Bank of Nigeria will check when going through the submitted NEXIT business plans, they will check if the Npower volunteer is currently under a Federal Government Loan Programme, once they find out, then you risk not receiving the NEXIT soft loan should disbursement begin.

How To Check If You Passed The Npower Batch C Stream 2 Physical Verification After It Has Been Completed

1) The Npower Batch C stream 2 applicant should visit https://nasims.gov.ng self service portal.

2) The Npower Batch C stream 2 applicant should login with the following login credentials;

A) Email Address or Npower Application ID

B) Password 

3) The Npower Batch C stream 2 applicant should click on the "verification" tab immediately after the "overview" tab.

4) The Npower Batch C stream 2 applicant should scroll down the page at the bottom of the page under physical verification status the Npower Batch C stream 2 applicant should see "pass" or "completed", once you see this it simply means that you have passed the Npower Batch C stream 2 physical verification exercise, you are not a beneficiary yet until you have passed the deployment stage.
