NEXIT: How To Check When The Loan Disbursement Will Commence

Loan disbursement is a process whereby Npower volunteers of the batch A and B Npower programme, is given loans by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The loan will be disbursed by the Central Bank of Nigeria, this loan disbursement will be based on the loan amount in the business plans of the Npower volunteers.

The loan disbursement process will start when all the business plans of all 230,000 exited Npower volunteers have been received by the Central Bank of Nigeria, once the Central Bank of Nigeria receives the business plans, the apex bank of Nigeria will go through the business plans one at a time and approve the business plans based on the following criteria;

1) The loan amount in the business plan

2) The type of business

3) The financial plan

4) The management plan

5) Profitability of the business 

6) Viability of the business 

7) Feasibility of the business

And other factors will be considered in the business plan.

Exited Npower volunteers that qualify for the loan will be contacted by the Microfinance Bank chosen when completing the business plan, the loan disbursement process will only begin after the second batch of the Npower NEXIT training have been completed, when the second batch of the Npower NEXIT training have been completed, the business plans of the Npower volunteers that have completed the Npower NEXIT training will be sent to the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Central Bank of Nigeria will vet the business plans as earlier stated then commence the process of disbursing the loan to exited Npower volunteers.

With the above processes exited Npower volunteers should have an idea of when the loan disbursement will commence.

How To Check When NEXIT Soft Loan Will Be Disbursed By The Central Bank of Nigeria

The NEXIT soft loan is an exited package that will be given to exited Npower Batch A and B volunteers after the second batch of the Npower NEXIT training, this NEXIT soft loan from the Central Bank of Nigeria will range from ₦500,000 to about ₦3,000,000 depending on the loan amount quoted in the business plan to be completed by the exited Npower volunteers after the Npower NEXIT training.

The challenge is that Npower Batch A and B volunteers that have completed the NEXIT training do not know when the NEXIT soft loan will be disbursed by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Exited Npower volunteers can contact Npower on twitter through the steps below to find out when the NEXIT soft loan will be disbursed by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

HOW TO CHECK WHEN THE NEXIT SOFT LOAN WILL BE DISBURSED BY THE CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA USING TWITTER 

1) The Npower volunteer should download the twitter application from Google playstore and install the twitter app, after downloading the twitter application please lunch the twitter application from your mobile phone or laptop depending on the device you are using, after lunching the twitter application, register with your email address or phone number, you can use any email address or the email address you used for your Npower registration or the phone number used for Npower registration, generate your password, you might be required to click the link sent into your email inbox before you can login.(please you can skip this part if you already have the twitter app)

2) Once the Npower volunteer confirms his or her login details, the Npower volunteer should login into the twitter application, once the twitter page opens, the Npower volunteer will see an icon on the footer of the page, the icon resembles a magnifying glass icon 🔍 click on it.

3) After clicking on the magnifying glass icon 🔍, it opens another page, you will see a search field at the top of the page which says 🔍 Search Twitter, enter @npower_ng into this search field, then click on the sky blue round circle with feather and a + sign located at the bottom right hand corner of the page, when you click on this sky blue round circle, all you have to do is compose a brief message, the content of the message should be brief, just say "I want to find out when NEXIT soft loan will be disbursed by the Central Bank of Nigeria to Npower Batch A and B volunteers?"

4) After completing step 3 please do not repeat the task, just wait and keep checking your Twitter application under the notification bell icon at the footer of the page, for a response, even if you did not get any response, your inquiry has been received and will be responded to accordingly.

All exited Npower Batch A and B volunteers that have completed the NEXIT training will be given soft loans by the Central Bank of Nigeria, the soft loan will be interest rate free, and the loan amount to be disbursed to the Npower volunteers to start a business will be based on the loan amount stated in the business plan of the Npower volunteers after it has been adjusted, if you business plan is adjusted to a soft loan amount of say ₦500,000 and it has been submitted to the Central Bank of Nigeria, your soft loan disbursement will be ₦500,000 by the Central Bank of Nigeria through NIRSAL Microfinance Bank to the Npower volunteer.

How To Login Into Npower Portal

The Npower portal otherwise known as the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) website is a portal whereby Npower volunteers can login to carry the following tasks below:

1) Upload their certificates and credentials

2) Input their personal details and bank details.

3) Check their verification status

4) Check their biometrics status

5) Check their physical verification status

6) Check their deployment status

7) upload acceptance or rejection deployment letters.

8) Check their payment status

9) Check their redeployment status and redeployment process

When login into the Npower portal, the Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteer is expected to login into the Npower portal using his or her Npower email address or Npower Application ID, the Npower application ID is the ID that begins with NPWR/2020/XXXXXXXXX then your password is unique to you.

HOW TO LOGIN INTO THE NPOWER PORTAL 

1) The Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteer should visit https://nasims.gov.ng

2) Before login into the Npower portal please ensure that your caplock on your keypad is switched ON, by pressing the caplock key until the light goes ON.

3) Once your caplock is switched ON, then input your Npower ID NPWR/2020/XXXXXXXXX all in capital letters.

4) Once you have inputted your Npower ID, press the caplock button until it is switched off (that is when the caplock button light goes off), then enter your password.

5) If you are using your email to login into the Npower portal, please make sure your caplock is switched off, and please note that your email address must be in small letters, and you must use the email address you used for Npower registration and not another email address, if your email address is sholajohn@gmail.com, you should not enter it as SHOLAJOHN@GMAIL.COM, the Npower portal will recognize it as another character and will display "invalid ID" and you will not be able to login into the Npower portal. All spaces must also be closed, because the computer system recognizes a space as a character as well, if your email address is sholajohn@gmail.com, please do not enter it as shola john@gmail.com, you can see that there is a space between shola and john, this might prevent you from gaining access into the Npower portal.

Once the above procedures are followed strictly then the Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteer will be able to login into the Npower portal without the "invalid password" or "invalid ID" issues.
