NEXIT: NEXIT Soft Loan Training For Second Batch Will Start Once Documentation, Certification And Business Proposals Are Concluded

Exited Npower Batch A and B volunteers awaiting the next batch of the NEXIT soft loan training have been extremely agitated by the delay in implementing the second batch of the NEXIT soft loan training, majority of the exited Npower Batch A and B volunteers have taken to the official page of the Npower program to express their anxiety and worries over the delay in commencing the NEXIT soft loan training for the second batch.

All exited Npower Batch A and B volunteers should note that the next batch of the NEXIT soft loan training cannot start until all the business plans of the previous NEXIT trainees have been submitted, simply put, the NEXIT soft loan training will not start until all documentations, certifications and business proposals of the previous (first set) have been completed and concluded, it is after the business plans of the first set that participated in the NEXIT soft loan training has been submitted to Central Bank of Nigeria through NIRSAL Microfinance Bank that the second batch of the NEXIT soft loan training can start.

Exited Npower Batch A and B beneficiaries have been advised to exercise patience and wait until all processes with respect to the soft loans for the first batch have been completed, as we speak the NEXIT officials are still working on the business plans of the first set of the exited Npower Batch A and B beneficiaries.

Npower: The Minister Is Not The One Holding Your January, February And March Stipend

Lots of Npower Batch C Volunteers have been lamenting and pointing accusing fingers to the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs for refusing to pay their January and February stipend including March stipend, the basic truth is that the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs is not responsible for the disbursement of funds meant for the Npower program.

The basic function of the minister for Humanitarian Affairs is to approve the payment list of Npower Batch C Volunteers eligible for payment, once it is approved by the Minister it is forwarded to the Permanent Secretary who in turns forwards the list to the Accountant General Department, the Accountant General will pass the necessary documents after intense scrutiny to the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The Central Bank of Nigeria will disburse payment to the Npower Batch C Volunteers' bank account after it has been validated by the Nigeria Inter Bank Settlement Scheme.

The Minister for Humanitarian Affairs function is just to approve the payment list for the months due to Npower Batch C Volunteers, once it is approved it leaves her desk to the appropriate quarters.
