According to Npower news, Npower applicants that received the Npower validation link to complete the Npower validation process should please go ahead and confirm their status using the Npower validation as this is from Npower, the Npower validation done by Npower applicants is not a guarantee for Npower payment, this is just a preselection, shortlisted npower applicants might be required to complete the Npower physical verification before they are entitled to Npower payment. Npower applicants that did not receive the Npower validation link are to exercise patience and continue to check their text message. For Npower applicants to receive Npower payment their Npower portal must change to beneficiary otherwise they will not be paid. Npower beneficiaries having error messages during their Npower validation will not be paid, until Npower validation is completed successfully, it is only when the error messages are cleared and the Npower validation process is successfully submitted that the Npower beneficiary will be eligible for Npower payment.

According to Npower news, Npower payment for backlogs continues shortly, Npower batch c stream 2 will receive Npower payment for September, October, November and December soon, Npower payment for January, February, March, April and May stipend will not start until all backlogs are cleared, payment for January to May stipend would have started but because of pending backlogs not cleared yet, this payment cannot start.

According to Npower news, Npower batch c stream 1 programme has ended and there will not be an Npower extension, Npower batch c stream 1 beneficiaries will receive all pending backlogs very soon.

Npower Payment Process

Npower do not make payment, Npower only forwards list of payment to the Permanent Secretary who then forwards the payment list to the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, from the Minister's desk the list goes to the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation through the Permanent Secretary, once this approved Npower payment list gets to the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation it is scrutinized before payment is made through through Central Bank of Nigeria, via Nigeria Inter Bank Settlement Scheme which is the payment system for crediting bulk payments.

In the crediting of Npower beneficiaries accounts the Npower payment might fail due to network glitch, then the Npower payment process is reinitiated again by the Nigeria Inter Bank Settlement Scheme and the cycle continues.
