Npower Physical Verification Requirements

The Npower physical verification is a process whereby the documents, certificates and credentials uploaded by the Npower applicant during the Npower registration is further sighted physically by Npower physical verification officers, once these credentials matches the credentials uploaded on the nasims self service portal then the Npower applicant passes the Npower physical verification, once there is a mismatch regrettably the Npower applicant fails the Npower physical verification and will not be able to progress to the deployment stage which is the last stage of the Npower screening process.

Most Npower applicants in addition to the documents uploaded to their NASIMS self service portal do not know other documents required by the Npower physical verification officers and what is actually required during the Npower physical verification exercise.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE NPOWER PHYSICAL VERIFICATION EXERCISE

The following below are the requirements for the Npower physical verification exercise;

A) The Npower applicant must have completed the biometrics, and must be marked "fingerprint captured ✓" in the verification page of the nasims self service portal.

B) The Npower applicant must have been sent the physical verification venue and date either on the verification page of the nasims self service portal or through text message.

C) The Npower applicant should possess hard copies (originals and photocopies) of all documents uploaded to the nasims self service portal, additional documents might be required in some states, see documents required below:

1) WAEC, OND, HND, BSC

2) VALID MEANS OF IDENTIFICATION; NATIONAL ID, VOTERS CARD, DRIVER'S LICENCE, BIO DATA PAGE OF INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT

3) NYSC CERTIFICATE OR EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE (FOR NPOWER GRADUATE CATEGORY)

4) UTILITY BILL; WASTE BILL, PHCN BILL ETC SHOWING ADDRESS OF NPOWER BATCH C STREAM 2 APPLICANTS 

5) BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR AGE DECLARATION

6) LASSRA CERTIFICATE (FOR LAGOS NPOWER BATCH C STREAM 2 APPLICANTS) OR CERTIFICATE OF RESIDENCY 

7) PASSPORT PICTURES IF NECESSARY

8) NASIMS PROFILE PAGE

NEXIT Loan Disbursement To Come Up Soon

 

According to Felix Ayorinde one of the exited Npower Batch A volunteer representing the Lagos State Npower exited volunteers, information concerning the NEXIT soft loan disbursement will be coming up soon, see image below.

Although the soft loan disbursement is supposed to commence after the next batch of the Npower NEXIT training, as Npower volunteers await the second batch of the Npower NEXIT training, Npower volunteers that have completed their NEXIT training are to stay tuned for updates regarding the NEXIT loan information coming up soon.

The soft loan disbursement will be provided by the Central Bank of Nigeria to successful Npower volunteers that have completed their training and their business plans have been completed and submitted to the Central Bank of Nigeria, failure to complete the business plan will prevent the Npower volunteer from receiving the soft loan, business plan do not only have to be completed but must be submitted to the Central Bank of Nigeria through the Npower NEXIT training state coordinators.

The soft loan amount ranges between ₦500,000 to ₦3,000,000 payable in seven years from when the loan was disbursed.

Npower volunteers will be contacted before the soft loans are being disbursed, Npower volunteers will be contacted through their Micro Finance Bank NIRSAL after the soft loan disbursement process have been completed.

Npower Physical Verification: All You Need To Know

The Npower physical verification is a second screening phase of the Npower program whereby the documents uploaded by the Npower applicants are checked if it corresponds with the documents physically presented by the Npower applicants at the physical verification venue.

WHO WILL CONDUCT THE NPOWER PHYSICAL VERIFICATION EXERCISE 

The Npower physical verification will be conducted by the Npower physical verification officers who are mostly National Youth Service Corp members.

WHEN WILL THE NPOWER PHYSICAL VERIFICATION BE CONDUCTED

The Npower physical verification will be conducted by June this month around 13th June to Friday 24th June, 2022, the dates might vary depending on the state where the Npower physical verification will be held.

WHERE WILL THE NPOWER PHYSICAL VERIFICATION BE HELD

The Npower physical verification is mostly conducted within the local government secretariats of the Npower applicants' residential address except stated otherwise.

HOW TO CHECK THE NPOWER PHYSICAL VERIFICATION VENUE WHEN IT COMMENCES 

The Npower physical verification venue and date will be sent to Npower applicants through text messages, through the nasims portal under the verification page, and Npower applicants can check their physical verification venue and date by dialing *45665# and selecting 0 for other options and picking the physical verification.

Tips To Find Out Where The Npower Batch C Stream 2 Physical Verification Will Be Held

The Npower Batch C stream 2 physical verification exercise will start this month June, and before it actually starts it will be communicated publicly to all Npower Batch C stream 2 applicants both on the verified social media handles, on the nasims self service portal and through text message.
