According to Npower News today the national coordinator of Npower has said that a video documentary containing beneficiaries of Npower expressing their dissatisfaction regarding Npower payment and the Npower  program will be released tomorrow. This video will be shared on all Npower Facebook and Twitter handles and also to media houses such as Channels Television, daily trust, Sahara reporters and a host of others.

According to Npower News, the National Coordinator has revealed that Npower payment will start by June, but please with Beneficiaries not to rest on their laurels by coming up with write ups and videos concerning their outstanding payment as this will facilitate the Npower payment process and further quicken the lifting of the suspension of Npower by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This was actually the support that the Npower national coordinator was talking about yesterday, Npower beneficiaries are implored to continue to do short videos and send them to the national coordinator of Npower. 

According to Npower News, the Npower national coordinator is also requesting for the beneficiaries of Npower to also be included in Npower batch D as well as other government schemes when it commences. The national coordinator of Npower said that though beneficiaries of Npower may doubt the possibility of Npower payment being made by June, but the National Coordinator of Npower has stressed it again and again the Npower payment will start by June and the Npower program will be lifted in coming weeks.

Npower News: Reasons Why 2024 Federal Government Grant Applicants Are Getting The Grant Before Others That Applied Earlier

According to Npower News lots of the federal government grant applicants have been asking why 2024 federal government grant applicants are getting the Federal Government Grant before 2023 federal government grant applicants.

The reason why 2024 federal government grant applicants are getting the federal government grant before 2023 federal government grant applicants are due to the factors below: 

1. NIN Verification Process: The federal government introduced the NIN verification process in the federal government grant portal which was not included before this might result to the delay in disbursement of the federal government grant to 2023 applicants as a result of NIN verification check.

2. Federal Government Grant Batch Disbursement Process: The federal government grant disbursement is being carried out in batches, and it is possible that 2024 applicants for the federal government grant were processed during a batch where the system had been improved for efficiency.

3. Population Distribution: The federal government grant targets a population distribution with various individuals, including women, youth, people with disabilities, and senior citizens. 2024 federal government grant applicants might have a population distribution that focuses more on this individuals.

4. Short Code Delay: There were initial delays in sending out shortcodes for NIN verification, which have now been resolved. According to Npower News the federal government grant disbursement is ongoing and will be done on a weekly basis until the number of beneficiaries gets to 1290 in each of the 774 local government areas, applicants that passed the NIN verification process and applied before the deadline will receive the federal government grant. The reason why the NIN verification is extremely important is to prevent duplicate applications so that an applicant will not receive the federal government grant twice. The federal government grant is disbursed in batches in order to prevent bottlenecks in the disbursement process and for smooth disbursement. The federal government grant disbursement will continue till the end of May.
