N-Power: July Stipends Pending

Exited N-Power Batch B Volunteers of the Federal Government's N-Power Social Investment Programme (NSIP) have still not been paid their July stipends.
Recall that N-Power Batch A Volunteers were exited from the N-Power programme abruptly on June 30 after four years in the scheme, without a sustainable exit plan while their N-Power Batch B counterparts officially made their exit on July 31st after two years also without an exit package.
These N-power volunteers were exited from the N-Power scheme by the Federal Government without being paid their stipends for the month of July. In addition to this pending issue, all N-Power volunteers are currently kept in the dark regarding their exit/transition package.
This has made many of them furious with the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, the chief custodian of the Social Investment Programmes (NSIP). Many N-Power volunteers have continued to assert their displeasure over the scheme, some even tagged the Ministry as " Disaster" Ministry, due to the incompetency of the minister in seeing to the affairs of the N-Power Volunteers.

N-Power: Incompetent Minister Sadiya Umar Farouq Continues To Provoke N-Power Volunteers

N-Power Volunteers of the Federal Government N-Power Programme, have taken to social media to continue to express their uttermost displeasure with the manner in which Sadiya Umar Farouq, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, is and has been handling the N-Power Scheme.
Since assuming office in 2019, Farouq is often accused of delaying N-Power Volunteers' stipends unnecessarily, and she is being criticised by some of the exited N-Power Batch A and B Volunteers for 'disengaging them from the scheme without a proper exit plan and structure in place'.
Most N-Power beneficiaries (between the ages of 18 and 39) have described the Minister Farouq's portfolio (Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management) as an aberration, nicknaming the Zamfara-born politician the 'Disaster Minister'.
In fact, as at the time of publishing this report, over 300, 000 N-Power Batch B Volunteers have not been paid their N30, 000 (79 US Dollars) stipend for July.
It would be recalled that in a Twitter poll conducted by prominent online news agency, Sahara Reporters and Daily Trust about a month ago, Sadiya Umar Farouq was conveniently voted as the worst-performing minister in President Muhammadu Buhari's cabinet.
This is coming amidst ceaseless complaints from N-Power beneficiaries of the N-Power scheme, a core component of Nigeria's National Social Investment Programmes (NSIPs).

N-Power: The Journey From Transition To Permanency

"N-Power Transition is not for all N-Power volunteers" Sadiya Umar Farouq.
More than hundred thousand N-Power volunteers are already engaged in entrepreneurship, hence will not be needing MDAs Job.
"Transition into MDAs will be done as planned, but only few will be selected, this is because, there are no new vacancies in MDAs at the moment.
When asked on how the "few" N-Power Volunteers would be chosen, the Honourable Minister promptly responded, thus; N-Power volunteers who meet the Psychometric assessment requirements have their chances.
The few N-Power Volunteers to be selected in this case means, only those who showed interest in the transition package and followed the update via approved N-Power Focal Officials directives.
“We have received large numbers of interested N-Power volunteers through their "details Update and we are processing it for immediate take-off" Sadiya added.
