The Ministry in charge has already disclosed some of the N-EXIT package and the strategies to be used for the N-EXIT Applicants to get the package via the N-EXIT options which will all depend on the package you allotted/Selected by the applicant. N-Power Yobe: FG Trains Independent Monitors On NSIP

Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management has organised a one day training for independent monitors of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) in Yobe state.
The Minister of the Ministry Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq said a total of 124 independent monitors will be trained on how to oversee various interventions of the federal government at the community levels.
Farouq represented by a Director from the ministry Hauwa Gadzama stated that the National Social Investment Programme created by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari to lift citizens out of poverty was transferred to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs in 2019 for proper coordination hence the need for monitors for success.
“Today we are training Independent Monitors that will monitor the programme at the community level.
“The Independent monitors will be assigned to monitor programme beneficiaries within their locality in schools, households, and market clusters with focus of ensuring that the primary objectives of these programmes are achieved,” the minister said.
Farouq who stated that the training will acquaint them with the schedule of duties also stated that the ministry will ensure regular training and guidance for effective monitoring within the community assigned.
“You will be closely supervised by officials of the ministry and your activities will also be monitored by the ministry and other stakeholders at the state level,” she said.
The state NSIP Coordinator Alhaji Mohammed Yusufari while speaking said in Yobe state, the programme has impacted positively in creating a source of livelihood to many unemployed graduates among other benefiting people.
Yusufari said the programme including NPOWER, national Home-Grown School Feeding Programme (NHGSFP), Conditional Cash Transfer programme among other federal interventions have impacted positively in the lives of the people in Yobe state.

N-Power Yobe: FG Trains 124 Monitors For National Social Investment Programme

The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management and Social Development has organised a one day training to 124 independent monitors for the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP).
Speaking while flagging off the training in Damaturu on Thursday, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Umar Farouq disclosed that the monitors would oversee various intervention programmes of the federal government at the community level in the state.
Established by Buhari led administration, the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) is targeted at empowering unemployed Nigerians and uplifting the lives of poor and vulnerable citizens in the country.
She said the training was aimed at preparing the monitors to their responsibilities, and ensuring that cardinal objectives of these programmes are achieved. 
“The independent monitors would be assigned to monitor the programmes in their locality, such as school, health post and market clusters” 
Represented by an official in the ministry, Hauwa Gadzama,  the minister noted that about 13 million people have so far benefitted from the social investment programmes in Nigeria.
According to her such programmes comprised of Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT), Home Grown School Feeding, Npower as well as Government Enterprise Empowerment Programme (GEEP).

N-Power: FG Engages 5000 Independent Monitors

The Federal Government has engaged 5000 independent monitors to verify disbursement running into billions of Naira made to Nigerians under the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP).
Out of this number, 195 monitors were selected from Lagos. The monitors have begun a two week training programme.
NSIP created by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2016 with the mandate of lifting citizens out of poverty warehouses a number of social interventions which include the job creation programme – NPower, National Home Grown School Feeding Programme (NHGSFP), Conditional Cash Transfer Programme (CCT) and the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP).
Tradermoni, Marketmoni, Farmermoni, special grant transfer, public workfare and skills for jobs are all under these programmes.
Also, a Unified National Social Register is to be inaugurated that will provide a database of all government intervention programmes, including the list of beneficiaries nationwide.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouk said in Lagos Thursday, that 5000 independent monitors have been assigned to monitor programme beneficiaries within their schools, households and market clusters with the focus of ensuring that the primary objectives of the programmes were achieved.
Speaking through the Assistant Director, Research and Statistics, Mrs. Jumai Ali, the Minister said the scope of the programmes was large with 13 million citizens across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory(FCT) benefiting from the Federal Government intervention. She also announced that the government will be working with the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFFC), Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) and security agencies to check monitors who may want to engage in mal practices.
In her address during the ceremony to onboard independent monitors for (NSIP), the Lagos Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment,Mrs Yetunde Arobieke said Tradermoni, Marketmoni, Farmermoni, NPower, conditional cash transfer, home grown schools feeding, special grant transfer, public workfare and skills for jobs, youth employment and social support operation and now rural women cash grant, have had remarkable impact, and improved the living conditions of rural women and taken more people out of poverty.
To address unemployment, Mrs Arobieke said the government established the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF).
The Commissioner, who is also the State Focus Person for NSIP said residents have benefited from cash support and relief materials.
