Greenpeg Graduate Trainee Program also known as Greenpeg Nigeria Limited Graduate Trainee Program is dedicated to closing engineering skills gap in Nigeria — training HND graduates on live projects, under the mentorship of the professionals who have built, developed and maintained the plants powering our industries.

A. Graduate Mechanical/Piping Engineer
Greenpeg Engineering Graduate Trainee will work alongside senior engineers on equipment design, piping layouts and technical drawings. Greenpeg Engineering Graduate Trainee will gain hands-on exposure to site activities as installations move from paper to plant floor — the discipline where mechanical fundamentals meet real-world execution.
Under supervision, Greenpeg Engineering Graduate Trainee will:
1. Support equipment design and piping layout development
2. Assist in preparing technical drawings, isometrics and specifications
3. Engage in site activities including installation and modification works
4. Learn engineering standards, drawing packages and material take-offs
5. Contribute to as-built documentation and site reports
B. Graduate Process Engineer
Greenpeg Engineering Graduate Trainee will support the calculations that keep process plants running effectively and efficiently. Greenpeg Engineering Graduate Trainee will help size equipment, build and develop process flow diagrams and P&IDs under close mentorship — building the analytical foundation of a career in process engineering.
Under supervision, Greenpeg Engineering Graduate Trainee will:
1. Assist in process calculations and mass/energy balances
2. Support equipment sizing for pumps, heat exchangers and vessels
3. Contribute to Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs
4. Learn to interpret and update process documentation
5. Engage in process reviews and HAZOP sessions
C. Graduate Instrumentation Engineer
Greenpeg Engineering Graduate Trainee will learn how to specify, install and test the instruments that measure and control clients' plants — from datasheets and loop drawings through installation, calibration and commissioning.
Under supervision, Greenpeg Engineering Graduate Trainee will:
1. Assist in instrument selection and datasheet preparation
2. Support loop drawing development and hook-up details
3. Engage in installation and testing under supervision
4. Learn calibration and pre-commissioning practices
5. Contribute to instrument index and cause-and-effect matrices
D. Graduate Automation Engineer
Greenpeg Engineering Graduate Trainee will work on the control systems that automate the operations of clients. Shadow senior engineers on PLC and HMI programming, control documentation, and the testing and commissioning that brings a plant to life.
Under supervision, Greenpeg Engineering Graduate Trainee will:
1. Support PLC and HMI programming under guidance
2. Assist with control system documentation and I/O lists
3. Contribute to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
4. Participate in commissioning of automated systems
5. Learn industrial communication protocols and SCADA basics
E. Graduate Electrical & Electronics Engineer
Greenpeg Engineering Graduate Trainee will load calculations to wiring drawings and site installation — learn how power distribution and control wiring come together in industrial projects, alongside experienced electrical engineers.
Under supervision, Greenpeg Engineering Graduate Trainee will:
1. Support electrical load and cable sizing calculations
2. Assist in equipment and switchgear selection
3. Contribute to wiring drawings, schematics and single-line diagrams
4. Participate in installation, testing and pre-commissioning
5. Learn earthing, lighting and small-power design principles
F. Graduate Internal Sales Engineer
Greenpeg Engineering Graduate Trainee will handle the technical and commercial back-and-forth that keeps sales pipeline moving — enquiries, product selection, quotations, and order tracking. Ideal for a graduate who's technically curious and commercially minded.
Under supervision, Greenpeg Engineering Graduate Trainee will:
1. Respond to customer enquiries with technical accuracy
2. Support product selection and specification matching
3. Prepare quotations and commercial proposals
4. Follow up on orders through fulfilment and delivery
5. Coordinate with external sales, procurement and logistics teams
G. Graduate External Sales Engineer
Greenpeg Engineering Graduate Trainee will represent Greenpeg at client sites nationwide. Develop presentation, negotiation and business development instincts alongside seasoned sales engineers — with real accountability from day one.
Under supervision, Greenpeg Engineering Graduate Trainee will:
1. Participate in client site visits and technical meetings
2. Support development of new sales opportunities
3. Deliver product presentations and demonstrations
4. Manage customer follow-up and relationship building
5. Contribute to sales reports and pipeline reviews
Requirements for Greenpeg Graduate Trainee Program
A. General Requirements
Candidates applying for Greenpeg Graduate Trainee Program must:
1. Have completed NYSC or holds a valid exemption certificate
2. Have HND from a recognised institution
3. Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
4. Have strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills
5. Be willing to learn, take direction and work collaboratively
B. Engineering Position
Candidates applying for Greenpeg Graduate Trainee Program under this position must:
1. Have HND in an engineering discipline relevant to the chosen position
2. Have strong understanding of relevant engineering fundamentals
3. Have interest in engineering design, calculations, technical drawings and modelling
4. Be familiar with AutoCAD or other relevant engineering software
5. Be willing to work at project sites, including offshore locations, when required
C. Sales Position
Candidates applying for Greenpeg Graduate Trainee Program under this position must:
1. Have HND in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline
2. Have Strong interpersonal skills and genuine interest in technical sales
3. Be willing to learn product applications, prepare quotations and work toward sales targets
