Npower News: Npower Batch C2 Will Be Deployed In The Coming Weeks - Minister

Npower Batch C1 volunteers under the Npower non graduate category, N-Build were officially completed their 3 months in-centre training nationwide, and were given starter packs for their apprenticeship programme which will span within a period of 6 months, during this period, the Npower Batch C1 volunteers will be paid ₦10,000 monthly stipend as they continue to discharge their duties at their various places of primary assignment.

According to the Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Nneka Ikem Anibeze and I quote;

"The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development on Monday drew the curtains on a 3-month training for N-Build Batch C1 beneficiaries and also handed starter packs to the beneficiaries under Federal government’s National Social Investment Program N-Power.

The Minister, Sadiya Umar Farouq who presented the tool kits to the beneficiaries on Wednesday at the FOCI Skills Academy, Katampe Abuja noted that the training which was replicated in 693 centres across the the six geo-political zones in the country is targeted at empowering young unemployed youths with life skills.

“The skills that you were trained in the last three months will remain necessary skills for today and tomorrow in any global economy. The Ministry, NSIP, N-Power teams and other relevant councils have worked assiduously to ensure that this helps in bridging the gap in demand for standard and market relevant skills.

“As this batch C1 of N-Build trainees are graduating to commence their apprenticeship, in line with Mr. President’s Commitment to creating more jobs and wealth creation opportunities for the teeming youths, in the next few weeks, the batch C2 of the N-Power programme will be deployed to their various places of primary assignments and training centres respectively, which are all directed to lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty”.

The Minister stated that each of the beneficiaries were provided with Tool Kits, Safety Gears, and Training Consumables to enable them to become and operate as skilled professional artisans and technicians. She charged them to make optimum use of the training provided for them.

“Having completed the in-centre training, you will be attached directly to relevant institutions for your Six-month apprenticeship. This attachment will enable you to have work-based learning experience commencing on Monday, 13th of June, 2022. During this six-month attachment period, your performance will be assessed and examined by the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON),the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) and the Institute of Tourism Professionals of Nigeria (ITPN) respectively”.

The beneficiaries were trained in automobile, Agric Tech, Carpentry & Joinery, Electrical Installation, Masonry & Tiling, Plumbing and Pipefitting.

The Minister also went to the Industrial Trust Fund Centre to present tool kits and starter packs to beneficiaries trained in Hospitality, comprising Baking and Confectionery, Cooking and Catering, House-keeping and Mixology.

In attendance was the Vice Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University Prof. Kabiru Bala, the Director General, Federation of Construction Industry Olubunmi Adekoje, the National Cordinator NSIP Dr Umar Bindir, the Team Lead N-Power Mr Nsikak Okon and other distinguished guests."

Npower Physical Verification Will Start Before June Ending

Npower applicants have been asking the question all over the internet "when is npower physical verification?", the Npower physical verification exercise will start before the ending of June, according to Npower in series of replies to Npower applicant's questions, the Npower physical verification exercise will start this month June, and before it starts it will be communicated on the following media below;

1) The Npower physical verification date will be communicated on the verification page of the nasims self service portal, just below the "fingerprint captured ✓" icon.

2) The Npower physical verification date will be communicated through text messages or through the Npower email address of the Npower applicant.

3) The Npower physical verification date will be communicated on all Npower verified social handles which includes their Facebook and Twitter Handles.

4) The Npower physical verification date will also be communicated through the nasims ussd code *45665#.

Npower applicants are hereby reminded to ensure that all documents uploaded to the nasims self service portal are all intact and readily available, the Npower physical verification stage is the most crucial and critical stage of the Npower screening process.

4 Categories Of Documents Required For The Npower Physical Verification Exercise

The Npower physical verification exercise is the second stage of the Npower applicant's screening process, at this stage, the Npower applicant is required to present both originals and photocopies of all documents uploaded to the nasims self service portal to the Npower physical verification officers, these documents are checked if they actually match the soft copies uploaded to the nasims self service portal, if it matches then the Npower applicant moves to the next stage which is the deployment stage, if the documents presented to the Npower physical verification officers do not match the documents uploaded to the nasims self service portal then the Npower applicant cannot proceed to the deployment stage, which regrettably means that the Npower applicant's screening process have come to an end and the Npower applicant removed from the Npower programme.

The challenge here is that most Npower applicants do not know the exact documents to be presented to the Npower physical verification officers, below are four categories of documents needed for the Npower physical verification exercise.

CATEGORY 1

Documents that shows date of birth, which includes any one of the following below:

A) Birth Certificate

B) Baptismal Card

C) Affidavit of Age Declaration

D) Valid Photo ID which includes any of the following:

1) National Identity Card

2) Bio Data Page of International Passport

3) Voter's Card

4) Driver's Licence

CATEGORY 2 

Document showing proof of address of residence, which includes any one of the following below:

A) National Identity Card showing your address of residence 

B) Utility Bill which includes any of the following:

1) Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) Bill

2) Nigeria Water Corporation Bill

3) Waste Bill 

4) Voter's Card capturing your residential address

5) General knowledge of local area of residence 

CATEGORY 3

Documents that shows your academic qualification, which includes any of the following:

A) Bachelor's Degree, Statement of Result or Transcript

B) Ordinary National Diploma (OND) certificate, Statement of Result or Transcript

C) Higher National Diploma (HND) certificate, Statement of Result or Transcript

D) National Certificate In Education (NCE), Statement of Result or Transcript

CATEGORY 4

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) documents which includes the following:

A) NYSC Certificate or Discharge Certificate

B) NYSC Exemption documents 

Npower applicants should note that they must have been pre-selected and their verification page must display "fingerprint captured ✓" before proceeding for the Npower physical verification exercise.

How To Fix All Npower Payment Issues

Npower payment is a process whereby the bank account of Npower volunteers are credited using a wire payment transfer system, once payment is initiated the payment status of the Npower volunteers reads pending, then from pending it becomes processing then after process the payment becomes paid, this is the period when the payment is fully completed by Npower and the Npower volunteer's bank account is credited.

On the contrary during payment by Npower the transaction might fail to get to the destination that is the Npower volunteer might not be credited due to a system error from Npower when initiating the payment, when this occurs Npower volunteers might see some reasons for the failed transaction under the payroll tab, Npower volunteers might starts seeing the following displayed on their payment status;

1) Transaction failed

2) Transfer unsuccessful

3) System error occurred

4) Invalid account

5) Destination not found

6) Transaction does not exist

7) Failed

8) User does not exist

9) Names mismatch

And a whole lot of errors

HOW TO FIX ALL PAYMENT ISSUES USING TWITTER

Npower's quick and prompt response lately from twitter has been phenomenal, Npower Volunteers can use Twitter to fix payment issues, using the quick tips below:

1) The Npower volunteer should download the twitter application from Google playstore and install the twitter app, after downloading the twitter application please lunch the twitter application from your mobile phone or laptop depending on the device you are using, after lunching the twitter application, register with your email address or phone number, you can use any email address or the email address you used for your Npower registration or the phone number used for Npower registration, generate your password, you might be required to click the link sent into your email inbox before you can login.(please you can skip this part if you already have the twitter app)

2) Once the Npower volunteer confirms his or her login details, the Npower volunteer should login into the twitter application, once the twitter page opens, the Npower volunteer will see an icon on the footer of the page, the icon resembles a magnifying glass icon 🔍 click on it.

3) After clicking on the magnifying glass icon 🔍, it opens another page, you will see a search field at the top of the page which says 🔍 Search Twitter, enter @npower_ng into this search field, then click on the sky blue round circle with feather and a + sign located at the bottom right hand corner of the page, when you click on this sky blue round circle, all you have to do is compose a brief message, the content of the message should be brief, kindly use the format below:

Name: state your full names here

Npower category: state your Npower category here 

Npower ID: state your Npower ID or NASIMS ID here

Issue: State your payment issues here, please make it brief and to point, avoid unnecessary details

Please note the following below:

For "paid" payment issues please request for your affected month bank account statement and attach it to your Twitter message and send to Npower alongside your Npower ID.

For names mismatch issues send your BVN printout containing your full names to Npower alongside your Npower ID.

4) After completing step 3 please do not repeat the task, just wait and keep checking your Twitter application under the notification bell icon at the footer of the page, for a response, even if you did not get any response, your inquiry has been received and will be responded to in due time.

Npower volunteers having the processing issue have to wait until it becomes failed payment before forwarding their issues using the above tips, otherwise the Npower volunteer should wait until payment status becomes "paid".

Npower News: The Physical Verification Exercise Will Take Place Soon - Npower

According to Npower the physical verification exercise will take place soon this was a response made from an inquiry by an Npower Batch C stream 2 applicant, see image below.

The Npower physical verification will be communicated to all Npower Batch C stream 2 applicants through their nasims self service portal and through the Npower varied social media handles. The Npower physical verification details will include;

1) The Npower's applicant physical verification venue

2) The Npower's applicant date for the Npower physical verification exercise

3) Other slides on Npower verified social handles might include documents for the Npower physical verification.

4) The time of the Npower physical verification exercise

The Npower physical verification officer who are mostly National Youth Service Corps Members will just your documents one after the other, and once there is a mismatch between the documents uploaded to the nasims self service portal and the physical copies then the Npower Batch C stream 2 applicant will not be verified on the Npower physical verification officer's checklist.

On the other hand, if all documents are checked and marked verified ✓ it means that the documents presented are exactly the same as the uploaded documents on the nasims self service portal.

Therefore Npower Batch C stream 2 applicants are advised to go through all the hard copies of the documents uploaded to the nasims self service portal to see if it matches.

NEXIT: Please Do Not Apply For NIRSAL Micro Finance Bank And Agri-Business/Small and Medium Enterprise Investment Scheme (AGSMEIS)

Exited Npower Volunteers that are awaiting the Npower Nexit soft loan disbursement should please avoid applying for the NIRSAL Micro Finance Bank And Agri-Business/Small and Medium Enterprise Investment Scheme (AGSMEIS), except you were not shortlisted for the NEXIT training, the reason is because these financial institutions are also the same financial institutions anchoring the Npower Nexit soft loan disbursement and since the Npower volunteer's names are already on the database as a prospective beneficiary the Npower volunteer will be disqualified from the Npower NEXIT soft loan disbursement process and will not receive the soft loan should the disbursement process begins.

The Npower Nexit loan disbursement process will begin after all batches of the Npower NEXIT training have been completed and all business plans completed and submitted to all the concerned financial institutions for the soft loan disbursement process.
