Npower News: How To Check Federal Government Grant Payment Status

According to Npower News, beneficiaries of the federal government grant can check their payment status on the federal government grant portal at https://grant.fedgrantandloan.gov.ng/.

Many beneficiaries of the federal government grant have already received their ₦50,000 federal government grant from the Federal Government as palliative while other applicants are still waiting for their payment of the federal government grant.

As stated by the Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite one million beneficiaries will be paid the federal government grant across all the 774 local governments of the federation, that is a total of 1,290 people per local government.

According to Npower News as soon as the federal government grant disbursement process is complete all beneficiaries will be listed on the federal government grant portal. The disbursement process for the federal government grant is ongoing and by next week Friday May 31st all selected beneficiaries will all received their federal government grant.

At the moment the public can access the number of beneficiaries paid per each 774 local governments of the federation and also applicants can check their payment status with respect to the federal government grant. If an applicant is being paid the federal government grant his or her Name, State, LG, amount paid and payment status will appear on the website, but if applicant is yet to be paid the federal government grant the result will show blank on the federal government grant portal.

How to Check The Federal Government Grant Payment Status

1. Beneficiaries should visit the federal government grant portal at https://grant.fedgrantandloan.gov.ng/

2. Beneficiaries should click on 'View Beneficiaries'

3. Beneficiaries should search the name of the local government he or she applied with. This will show you the number of beneficiaries paid in your local government.

4. To check your federal government grant payment status, input your BVN in the space provided for that.

5. If you have received your payment, all details and your payment status will appear under the columns, If you are yet to be paid you will see blank under the columns.

According to Npower News the federal government grant is ongoing and payment will continue up to the end of the Month.

Many candidates do not know that they have received their federal government grant because in many cases the federal government grant entered their account without credit alert, applicants are advised to  check their account balance frequently.

Npower News: Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) Shed Light On Instructions Included In Student Loan

According to Npower News, Nasir Ayitogo Media and Public Relations Lead Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) in a new publications threw more light with respect to state institutions not included in the student loan. Read statement below.

The management of Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has noticed the publication of misleading information on social media claiming that the student loan is solely for federal institutions. NELFUND categorically state that this information is incorrect.

State institutions are unequivocally by law included in our student loan. The student loan is designed to roll out in batches in order to ensure effective and efficient management of the process.

The first batch for a start will focus on students attending federal institutions.

The second batch,  which will be launched shortly after the initial rollout, will extend the student loan to students at state institutions.

Npower News: Things You Should Know About The Npower Payment To Beneficiaries Of Npower Batch C

According to Npower News, it is not longer news that the payment of the nine to twelve months stipends will commence by June, but beneficiaries of Npower should take note of the following:

1) Npower batch c stream 2 will be given preference with respect to Npower payment.

2) Npower payment to Npower batch c stream 2 beneficiaries will not start until the suspension of Npower is lifted.

3) Npower payment will be made in batches and will not be paid in lump sum.

4) Npower payment will be made to only eligible and shortlisted Npower beneficiaries.

5) Npower payment to Npower batch c stream 1 will not be made as Npower batch c stream 1 beneficiaries had been paid their exit package.

6) Npower payment to beneficiaries of Npower by June was only said by the Npower National Coordinator with no evidence from the Presidency.

7) Npower is not included in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda, the Renewed Hope Agenda consists of the following:

A) Consumer credit scheme

B) Federal Government Grant

C) Federal Government Loan 

D) Student Loan

8) The stipend for Conditional Cash Transfer is for the poor and vulnerable groups and not Npower payment.

Npower News: People With Disabilities, APC Stakeholders Reject Calls For Reinstatement Of Betta Edu

According to Npower News, the attention of APC and People With Disabilities (PWDs), national stakeholders and leaders was drawn to an online publication by Sentry Times, widely shared and allegedly attributed by Chief Eric Ndubueze Ufom calling for the reinstatement of Betta Edu as Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.

According to Npower News, the group leaders in a press statement said, "It's unfortunate that Chief Eric Ndubueze Ufom who's not even based in Nigeria and don't know how many of us we PWDs had been suffering under her 6 months as minister is using his self appointed, unrecognized and unknown group termed as "Nigerian PWDs Leaders and pioneers" which many of us never heard it's existence simply because he's one of the beneficiary of her six months as minister because it's clear he already exposed himself when he said in his publication that she approved his proposals"

To clear the air, the Nigerian People With Disabilities (PWDs) leaders including the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, National People With Disabilities (PWDs), Awareness Movement and various groups have been calling for the appointment of a competent and incorruptible person with track records to handle the affairs of the Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation for the benefits of not only People With Disabilities (PWDs), but also Internally Displaced Person (IDP), Widows, Orphans and other less privilege to promote the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu towards the poor and vulnerable, including People With Disabilities (PWDs).

Recall that the embattled suspended Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu was accused by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for authorising the payment of ₦585,000,000 into a private account, Betta Edu was also linked to the Kogi airport scandals and other allegations and for anyone or any appointed group to call for the reinstatement of Betta Edu is like supporting corruption and mismanagement which will be a serious setback to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration to tackle corruption.

According to Npower News, the Nigerian People With Disabilities (PWDs), APC Supporters, leaders and stakeholders in a statement said "they are not corrupt and does not in anyway support corruption and mismanagement."

The group urged the general public to disregard the so called publication as it does not in anyway represent the voice of the Nigerian People With Disabilities (PWDs) leaders but self appointed person with few people being used to carry their selfish interests and hidden motives.

According to Npower News Tuesday May 21st all arrangements for Npower payment to Npower batch c beneficiaries is in progress. Recall that the Npower national coordinator said that Npower payment will start in June and the suspension of Npower will be lifted very soon, well all is now in place for the payment of 9 to 12 months stipends accrued to Npower beneficiaries, arrangements for payment to beneficiaries of the Conditional Cash Transfer is also in progress, the conditional cash transfer with Npower under the National Social Investment Programme was suspended by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in January as a result of misappropriation of public funds scandal linked to Betta Edu the suspended Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation and the CEO of the National Social Investment Programme Agency Ms Halima Shehu.

According to Npower News, the federal government grant will continue up until the end of May this month, the federal government loan application is ongoing and has not closed yet, the RAPID Bank of Industry loan application is as well ongoing and the student loan application will start on Friday, beneficiaries of Npower are advised to make good use of these opportunities while awaiting their Npower payment, Npower payment will only be paid to Npower batch c stream 2 and not Npower batch c stream 1 beneficiaries.
