Niger State N-Power volunteers

Sequel to the directive from the Minister of Federal Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development to all the Focal Persons of NSIPs in all the States to submit an updated list and details of the exited N-Power Beneficiaries that are interested in participating in the transition plans of the Ministry, Niger State focal person is yet to say anything pertaining to the above issue though there is gap now between the state representative and the focal person. I'm yet to get such directive from the office of the Niger state focal person and i can't start anything or say anything without directive from them.

In lieu of the above, everyone should exercise patience for now, i will make announcement as soon as there is directive.

Please don't panic with this because i see no reason why they are even demanding for our details again when they have our authentic details in their data base already. Why can't they create an icon on our portal that is better, faster and stress free to do such.

This is just another delay tactics to silence us from our agitation but we won't stop.

36 states and FCT N-Power Representatives Forum are seriously working towards all this issues remain calm and no cause for alarm.

To My Gullible NPower Volunteers

It is quite disheartening that N-Power beneficiaries have been deceived by the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management in person of Mrs Sadiat Umar Farouq.

To me, it seems the minister is in a state of despondency. She doesn't really know what to do to completely exit N-Power Batch A & B. Yes, she is acting under the Presidency instruction but even the Federal Government themselves don't know what to do to avoid public outcry concerning the fate of N-Power beneficiaries.

The truth is expect nothing from the ministry, if they are really serious, what happened to the below information given to us some months back.

- Some banks have agreed to absorb some N-Power beneficiaries in five states - Mariam uwaize

- Transition icon on our dashboard where we were told to select where will be transited into. (Community policing, Teach, Health e.t.c)

- Your permanency is tied to your PVC, vote President Muhammadu Buhari.

- How about the psychometric test the Minister talked about?

Now they are asking Focal Persons across the federation to submit updated N-Power beneficiaries' data from all states of the federation. The question I ask myself when I go through this are:

"Does it mean the ministries don't have the names of all active N-power volunteers across the federation?" Who are those receiving stipends from the day she took over from Mr.Afolabi?

Who does she think she is deceiving? We or the focal person who are yet to receive any information as regards request of names of N-Power volunteers, no single letter to that effect. We only saw the information on media and the gullible representatives across the federation fell for it.

A cheap deceit from the Minister to silence N-Power beneficiaries and we finally fell for it. Anyway, they have played politics with our future and it's high time we tell them they can't decide our future and move on.

N-Power Abuja (Batch A & B) Stipend Issues And Screening Exercise

I am directed to inform you that both batches of the N-Power volunteers (batch A and B) are urgently needed on Monday 31st August, 2020 at the N-Power Office Abuja by 8:00am ahead of the preparation of non payments of 5 months N-Power beneficiaries' stipends with other available opportunities at the disposal of the FMHDS like FMARD and other MDAs as stated by the Honourable

Minister For Humanitarian Affairs Sadiya Umar Farouk.

I am therefore, on this note urging N-Power volunteers to come with the following details to avoid any delay in the exercise as it is only for one day which is on Monday.

c. Phone Number

d. Category

e. State of Assignment

f. Batch (A or B)

g. Are you currently employed? (Yes/No)

h. Do you want to participate in the transition opportunities? (Yes/No)
