Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteers that completed their biometrics months ago before the biometrics kicked off officially are to go to their dashboard and screenshot their biometrics data and send to Npower twitter handle according to Npower, this should be accompanied by the Npower ID of the Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteer.

Npower made this statement in a previous response to an inquiry made by an Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteer, the biometric data and Npower ID will be used to check the validity of the biometrics completed by the Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteer months ago, to know if it has truly been completed and if it is valid.

If the biometric is not valid, the Npower Batch C stream 2 might have to repeat the biometrics process, the Npower biometrics must be completed and passed before the Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteer can qualify for the Npower physical verification when the Npower Batch C physical verification is set.

Npower Batch C stream 2 Volunteers that have completed their biometrics months ago and do not know how to send their Npower ID and biometrics data are to follow the steps below:

1) The Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteer should download the twitter application from Google playstore (alternatively you can go directly to your browser and search for https://mobile.twitter.com) and install the twitter app, after downloading the twitter application please lunch the twitter application from your mobile phone or laptop depending on the device you are using, after lunching the twitter application, register with your email address or phone number, you can use any email address or the email address you used for your Npower registration or the phone number used for Npower registration, generate your password, you might be required to click the link sent into your email inbox before you can login.(please you can skip this part if you already have the twitter app)

2) Once you confirm your login details, login into the twitter application, once the twitter page opens, you will see an icon on the footer of the page, the icon resembles a magnifying glass icon 🔍 click on it.

3) After clicking on the magnifying glass icon 🔍, it opens another page, you will see a search field at the top of the page which says 🔍 Search Twitter, enter @npower_ng into this search field, then click on the sky blue round circle with feather and a + sign located at the bottom right hand corner of the page, when you click on this sky blue round circle, all you have to do is compose a brief message saying "I want to send in my Npower ID and biometric data for biometrics verification", attach the screenshot of the biometric data obtained from the verification page of your NASIMS profile by clicking on the picture icon under the message window it will take you to the folder where the biometric data screenshot was saved, please note, you must have screenshoted the biometric data page on the verification page on NASIMS before completing this task, then click on "Tweet" in a sky blue capsule shape at the top right hand corner.

4) After doing this please do not repeat the task, just wait and keep checking your Twitter application under the notification bell icon at the footer of the page, for response, even if you did not get any response, your question has been received, you will be replied in few hours.

Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteers have been strictly advised to always follow the instructions set aside by Npower in order to avoid issues that might arise from incomplete biometrics.

Npower Nexit Training

The Npower Nexit training is a one week training whereby exited Npower volunteers of the Npower Batch A and B programme are being trained extensively on how to choose a profitable and viable business, the exited Npower volunteers are also trained on how to write a business plan which qualifies the Npower volunteers for the award of a soft loan, at the end of the Npower Nexit training, Npower volunteers are awarded certificates of completion, the Npower Nexit training is part of the Federal Government initiative to lift the teeming youths out of poverty.

The first batch of the Npower NEXIT training was conducted in March and participants were given Npower Nexit certificates of completion after they were lectured on a week seminar on how to write a business plan and how to select a profitable business, at the end of the Npower NEXIT first batch training the business plans were submitted by the Npower Nexit training consultants on behalf of the Npower volunteers in partial fulfillment for the award of the soft loan from the Central Bank of Nigeria.

This Npower Nexit training is divided into batches, the first batch which had been completed and the second batch which is about to commence, the second batch of the Npower NEXIT training will start when the Npower Nexit training list is sent to the Npower NEXIT training consultants, once the list is sent, then the Npower NEXIT training for the second batch will begin. Npower volunteers can dial *45665# to check and confirm their NEXIT training shortlisting status, if they were selected for the Npower NEXIT training or not. Shortlisted Npower volunteers will be sent training invitations via email or SMS, and the second batch NEXIT training will be communicated publicly on all Npower social media handles before it commences.

After all the batches must have been completed then the business plans will be forwarded to the Central Bank of Nigeria through the Npower NEXIT state coordinators and the soft loan process can now commence.

The Npower business plan is an extremely important document in addition to the certificate of completion, for the issuance of the soft loan, without these documents the Npower volunteer will not have access to the soft loan, soft loan will be based on the informations contained in the business plan of the Npower volunteers.

Npower volunteers have been advised to always check if their business plans have been submitted by loggin into their online business plan template, once your business plan is editable it means that your business plan have not been submitted, if your business plan is static, that is, it cannot be edited then it means that your business plan have been submitted.

Biometrics: If you completed your biometrics before 15th May, please make your N-power ID available to us for confirmation - Npower

Biometrics is a process whereby the fingerprint details of Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteers are captured and stored in the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) database as part of the screening and shortlisting process.

According to Npower, in response to an inquiry made by an Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteer, if you did your biometrics before the biometrics officially flagged off you are to send your Npower ID and the screenshot of your biometric data page, for verification and confirmation, failure to do this might render your biometrics invalid.

The Npower Batch C stream 2 physical verification date, is the date whereby the Npower Batch C stream 2 physical verification exercise will be conducted, on this particular date, Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteers are to make available all documents uploaded onto the NASIMS profile for verification by the Npower verification officers.

The Npower biometric software has to be installed on a laptop running on the following system specifications:

The Npower biometric software must be used with a fingerprint reader hardware having the following prerequisites:

A) 32 bit Installation

B) 64 bit Installation 

C) General Installer

The above drivers, softwares and hardwares are all required for the Npower biometric software, once downloaded and installed, the Npower biometric software automatically captures the fingerprint details of the Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteer, after the Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteer must have placed all the required fingers on the fingerprint reader.

Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteers might encounter certain network glitches when installing the Npower biometrics software, and it is always advised to use a strong internet broadband connection when completing the Npower biometrics software installation process.

Npower Business Plan

The Npower business plan is a document prepared by exited Npower volunteers through an online template, every state have their Npower business plan template which is filled by Npower volunteers, the Npower business plan is a document required for the processing of the soft loan to be issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The Npower business plan is a document to be completed at the end of the Npower NEXIT training, in some states the Npower business plans are completed by the Npower Nexit training consultants themselves and are adjusted based on the informations on the Npower business plan, the informations on the business plans includes:

1) The profile page

2) The cost of equipments

3) Financial plan

4) Management plan

5) Loan amount

And other details depending on the Npower business plan template used by a particular state.

The Npower business plan must be submitted in order for the Npower volunteers to be entitled to the soft loan to be issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria, in order for the Npower volunteers to check if the business plan have been submitted, once the business plan have been submitted it becomes no longer editable, once the Npower business plan is editable it simply means it has not been submitted yet.

Npower volunteers are to login into their online Npower business plan to check if the business plan have been submitted, otherwise they are to contact their state Npower Nexit training consultants to find out if their Npower business plan have been completed and submitted to the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Npower NEXIT Training

Npower NEXIT training is a process whereby exited Npower Batch A and B volunteers are trained for a period of a week on how to develop a business plan as a requirement for application of soft loan.

The Npower NEXIT training is conducted in batches, each batch will be trained on how to complete a viable business plan, after the completion of the business plan, it is submitted to the Central Bank of Nigeria for the processing and disbursement of the soft loan to the Npower volunteers.

The business plan will be scrutinized and approved before the soft loan is disbursed to the Npower volunteers, in some cases the business plans are submitted on behalf of the Npower volunteers by the Npower NEXIT training consultants, the Npower NEXIT training consultants are responsible for conducting the Npower NEXIT training nationwide.

The second batch of the Npower NEXIT training will commence after all business plans of the previous batch have been received by the Central Bank of Nigeria, before the next batch begins, a list is sent by Npower (the body in charge of of the NEXIT training programme) to the state Npower Nexit training consultants nationwide, then the next batch of the Npower NEXIT training begins.

All Npower volunteers will be given certificates at the end of the Npower NEXIT training and will be given soft loans after all business plans have been vetted and approved by the appropriate financial institutions.

This soft loan will be used to start a business as specified in the business plan of the Npower volunteers, Npower volunteers awaiting the next batch are advised to check their shortlisting status by dialing the NASIMS code *45665# the code used for checking the Npower NEXIT training status to check if they were shortlisted for the next batch of the Npower NEXIT training.

NASIMS Biometric

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) biometric is a process whereby shortlisted Npower stream 2 volunteers are instructed to capture their fingerprint as a requirement for the Npower screening process.

Before the NASIMS biometrics, Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteers are notified to complete their biometrics through their NASIMS verification page, the biometrics process is done using a fingerprint scanner and a laptop, error messages might come up during the biometrics due to network glitches, once this occurs the Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteer should wait till the internet network stabilises then continue the biometric.

In order to check if the NASIMS biometrics was done properly the Npower stream 2 volunteer should login into the NASIMS portal https://NASIMS.gov.ng/login and click on the verification page, and scroll down the page, if the NASIMS biometrics was done properly the Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteer will see "fingerprint captured ✓" icon, but if the NASIMS biometrics was not done properly the Npower Batch C stream 2 volunteer will see capture fingerprint without the ✓, this simply means the NASIMS biometrics was not passed and must be repeated.

Npower stream 2 volunteers can also check their biometrics status if it was completed or yet to be completed by dialing the NASIMS ussd code*45665#, if you passed the biometrics you will receive a positive response, if you do not pass the biometrics you will receive a negative reply.

During biometrics all fingers must be captured according to the instructions set by NASIMS including index fingers, and fingers must not be stained as this will affect the biometric process.
