International Breweries Technical Trainee Program

International Breweries Technical Trainee Program is a structured programme designed to address the acquisition of Quality Assurance skills and experience for International Breweries Technical Trainee as well as familiarise them with the SAB philosophies. Responsibilities of International Breweries Technical Trainee

International Breweries Technical Trainee will:

1. Apply the principles of quality assurance

2. Apply the knowledge and understanding of principles of quality control and related governance systems

3. Understand and apply quality assurance expertise and how this fits in broader value chain context

4. Apply quality assurance practices within a specific functional area 

5. Uphold and contribute to a culture of quality and Food safety excellence, taking ownership of systems and processes to ensure the highest standards are met

6. Apply theoretical, problem-solving and lateral thinking in the design of new processes and systems

7. Communicate practices and solutions to the rest of the team

8. Engage in Quality Assurance team structures

9. Diagnose systemic and situational problems

10. Interface with other brewery disciplines to meet functional and/or project management objectives

11. Apply positive thinking orientation

12. Apply problem solving orientation

Requirements for the Post Of An International Breweries Technical Trainee

Candidates applying for the post of an International Breweries Technical Trainee must:

1. Have B. Tech or higher in Science or equivalent field of study

2. Have the mobility to be placed in any of the seven breweries on completion of the International Breweries Technical Trainee Program 

3. Have a Valid Drivers License

4. Be able to demonstrate team maturity with displayed leadership traits

Candidates with two years quality control related experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) have an added advantage 

International Breweries Recruitment Process

2. International Breweries Assessment: After applying for the post of an International Breweries Technical Trainee the next stage is the International Breweries Assessment containing several cognitive and behavioural exercises. These include:

3. Video Interview: Candidates who progress from the International Breweries assessment will receive a video interview containing five questions, with approximately two minutes to record each response and multiple attempts available.

4. Panel/HR Interview: Further interviews will evaluate your experience, education, career objectives, personality, communication skills, company knowledge and cultural fit. 

5. Assessment Centre: For graduate and management trainee recruitment, candidates may subsequently encounter an assessment-centre stage. Reported activities can include work-scenario exercises, case studies, group discussions, presentations, teamwork and leadership-related exercises.

6. Final Selection and Pre-Employment Checks: Candidates who successfully complete the relevant selection stages will proceed to final selection, documentation and pre-employment checks.
