Npower: How To Fix "No Account Information" Issue On Npower NASIMS Portal

If you are an Npower Batch C applicant and you have noticed that on login into the Npower NASIMS portal, you could no longer find your account details, instead on the account field it is displaying "no account information".

Please if you are having this issue simply input your account details and everything will be okay. If the issue continues, simply log out and login again and everything on the Npower NASIMS portal will normalize.

Should the issue continues to display "no account information" then you should not worry as this is from NASIMS server and will not affect an Npower applicant's deployment process.

The only information an Npower Batch C applicant should not tamper with is his or her names, date of birth, state of origin and local government area because those informations are tied to your BVN which might affect your payment and other processes.

In addition to this, if you are also seeing the "NO BVN DATA or INVALID BVN" being displayed on the Npower NASIMS portal, please ignore and disregard this as this issue is from NASIMS and it will also not affect your physical verification/deployment process.

Npower: NCT Which Will Commence 23rd August, Is Not N-EXIT Package

Lots of Npower exited Volunteers of the Npower Batches A and B have been confusing themselves over the NCT,(the conditional cash transfer), infact many Npower Exited Volunteers have been mixing up the Conditional Cash Transfer with the N-EXIT package, most Npower Batches A and B volunteers are even calling the Conditional Cash Transfer, N-EXIT package.

Please the Conditional Cash Transfer is not N-EXIT package, the official date for the commencement of the N-EXIT package is yet to be announced, although there are some speculations that the N-EXIT package might fall within the GEEP 2.0 which would commence on 24th August although this information still remains sketchy, the conditional cash transfer provides a stipend of ₦5000 to the poor and vulnerable within rural communities.

The National Cash Transfer Programme also known as Household Uplifting Programme (HUP) is one of the 4 social investment programmes anchored by the Federal Government of Nigeria. The programme commenced in September, 2016.  It was conceived as part of the Federal Government of Nigeria’s (FGN) larger growth and social inclusion strategies aimed at addressing key social concerns in the country.

It is a component of National Social Safety Nets Project (NASSP) which is supported by the World Bank, to provide financial support to targeted poor and vulnerable Nigerian households.

The programme is focused on responding to deficiencies in capacity and lack of investment in human capital, especially amongst our poorest citizens. Beneficiaries of the programme are mined from the National Social Register (NSR), comprising State Social Registers (SR) of poor and vulnerable households. The SRs are being developed with the training, supervision and guidance from the National Social Safety Net Coordinating Office in Abuja.

The programme is designed to deliver timely and accessible cash transfers to beneficiary households and sets to support development objectives and priorities, to achieve specific outcomes as outlined below:

Improve household consumption.

Increase in utilization of health and nutrition services.

Improve school enrolment and attendance.

Improve environmental sanitation and management.

Encourage household financial and asset acquisition.

Engage beneficiaries in sustainable livelihood.

The programme has 3 components which are as follows:

Npower: If You Did Or Did Not Recieve The Profile Update Message, Please Read This

Some Npower Batch C applicants on login into their Npower NASIMS portal a message was displayed, imploring the Npower Batch C applicant to update his or her profile.

Please if you are an Npower Batch C shortlisted applicant and you receive this message, kindly oblige, by updating your profile, even if you had done it previously.

Once an Npower Batch C applicant uploads his or her documents successfully, the Npower profile update message will no longer be displayed on your Npower NASIMS dashboard.

All Npower Batch C applicants should take note, your names, date of birth, state of origin and local government should not be touched, because they are linked to your BVN.

If you were shortlisted and did not receive the profile update message, it simply means that your Npower NASIMS profile is intact.

Please an Npower Batch C applicant receiving the Npower profile update does not mean that the Npower Batch C applicant has passed the physical verification stage or deployment stage, as most Npower Batch C applicants often claim. 

Npower: Names Of Npower Batch C Final Shortlist Not Released Yet

Lots of Npower Batch C applicants have been asking about the names of Npower Batch C shortlisted, there is no list of Npower Batch C applicants shortlisted, the Npower recruitment process is in stages, the current stage is the Npower biometrics, after passing the Npower biometrics, Npower Batch C applicants will proceed for Npower physical verification, which will commence soon.

After passing the Npower physical verification, a final shortlist will be sent to all 774 local government areas for Npower deployment/posting.

This final list will include the names of Npower volunteers that have passed all the shortlising process, that is, names of Npower volunteers that have successfully passed the Npower biometrics, and the Npower physical verification, every stage is a process.

Npower: Information About The Npower N-EXIT Loan Disbursement Been Communicated Publicly Is True

Lots of Npower Volunteers both the Npower Batch A and Npower Batch B have been asking the question about the N-EXIT loan, infact some Npower Volunteers have been going to the Npower handle to ask if the news about the "N-EXIT loan disbursement been made public", if this news is actually true, what a ridiculous question.

If there were to be no N-EXIT program then why tell thousands of Npower Volunteers to login into the N-EXIT portal to register.

Of course there will be a N-EXIT loan package, and when the N-EXIT program commences it will be communicated to all Npower Batch A and B Volunteers publicly.

We all know that this has always been the process used by the Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs to reach out to fellow Npower Volunteers.

The N-EXIT loan was an initiative established in conjunction with the Ministry for Finance, Budgeting And Planning and the Central Bank of Nigeria, recall that exited Npower Batch A and B Volunteers were directed to the N-EXIT portal to complete their registration.

All Npower Batch A and B Volunteers were only disengaged, Npower Volunteers were not sacked or terminated, all Npower Batch A and B Volunteers are still in the program but not playing an active role.

Npower: Deployment Have Not Commenced Yet, Please Ignore Illegitimate Information

Lots of Npower batch c applicants have been seeing informations online about Npower deployment, please any information not originating from Npower verified handle should be treated with caution.

The next stage in the Npower shortlising process is the Npower physical verification, after the Npower physical verification is the deployment stage.

All stages of the Npower shortlising process will be communicated individually to all Npower batch c applicants, be rest assured.

All Npower batch c applicants are always advised to always check their portal online for updates, you were notified when the Npower biometrics commenced, definitely you will be notified when the next stage commences via Npower verified handles.

N-Power: N-EXIT A Loan, Not A Grant Nor Reward

Lots of N-Power Batch A and B exited volunteers have been asking the question if the N-EXIT package is a reward or grant to be given to Npower Volunteers for their services rendered.

Please the N-EXIT package is not a grant neither is it a reward or "free" money as some N-Power volunteers might tag it.

The N-EXIT package is a loan, that is meant to be repaid after its tenure, the interest rate remains unknown at this period, but the Federal Government and the Ministry for Finance have promised a robust package for exited N-Power volunteers.

N-Power: You Are Being Owed 5 Months Backlogs, Please Read This

If you are an N-Power Batch A and B exited volunteer, and you are being owed 5 months backlogs, it might be that you were erroneously flagged for payment issues, or you were erroneously reported as an abscondee by your Departmental Head or by your Principal, whichever the case the deed has been done, so the question is what do you do?

Firstly, if you have been flagged for payment issues, please I repeat do not relax or rest on your laurels, please proceed to your secretariat, I do not mean your local government secretariat, i mean your state secretariat, for example if an N-Power Volunteer hails from Lagos State, the N-Power Volunteer's secretariat is at the capital of the state which is at Alausa, Ikeja.

Please when you get to the state secretariat ask for your state N-Power focal person, if the N-Power focal person is unavailable, proceed to the State Government Ministry, for instance if you are an N-Teach Volunteer, proceed to the Ministry for Education at the secretariat, have all your documents intact, if possible your bank statements of account printed by your bank from the date you received payment till when your payment was halted.

Please try as much as possible to resolve your payment issues, because all N-Power volunteers flagged for payment issues will not be receiving the N-EXIT package when it commences.

N-Power: Please Ignore The Rumour That N-Power Stream 1 Is Delayed Due To Insufficient Funds

There is an information on air, that the N-Power Batch C 1 has been delayed due to insufficient funds, please this information is not true, baseless and from individuals trying to undermine this good initiative from the Federal Government.

The reason why I said the information is untrue is because recently the ministry has been unraveling several N-SIP programs, and these programs gulps huge amounts of funds, so saying that the Federal Government is broke is just ridiculous.

In addition to this, the federal government recently approved the supplementary budget for the National Social Investment programs.

The delay on the implementation of the N-Power physical verification is just based on little logistic issues, which will be sorted out soon.

N-Power: How To Fix "Blank Test Score" Issue On NASIMS Portal

Please if you are an N-Power Batch C applicant and you have taken the test, please ignore the retake test button, as your previous score is already in the N-Power NASIMS database.

Most N-Power Batch C applicants have been trying to click on the "take test" button because their score is no longer appearing on the N-Power NASIMS portal.

The reason for the disappearance of your score might just be due to some online technical issues, and might also result from the NASIMS technical support working from the back end.

I repeat if you have written the test regardless of whether your score is showing or not, please do not retake the test.

N-Power: Please If You Are A Corper Apply For The Non-graduate Category

Please if you are a Corper and want to participate in the N-Power Batch C program, please you are to apply under the N-Power Batch C non-graduate category, otherwise you may have to complete your NYSC before applying for the N-Power program when the upcoming batch commences.

Reason is because, during the N-Power physical screening exercise, you will be required to provide your NYSC discharge certificate, except you have it before the physical verification commences, you will not be able to progress beyond the N-Power physical verification stage.

So please to avoid disheartening issues, it is best to comply with the instructions of the N-Power program before even applying from the onset.
